Inicia-se o curso com uma revis\u00e3o da teoria de momento angular aplicando-a ao problema do \u00e1tomo de Hidrog\u00eanio.&nbsp; Em seguida desenvolve-se os conceitos elementares da teoria de espalhamento, fundamental na F\u00edsica Nuclear, no estudo de part\u00edculas elementares e na \u00d3ptica. O spin do el\u00e9tron ser\u00e1 ent\u00e3o discutido em maior profundidade, assim como a quest\u00e3o da soma de momentos angulares. Ser\u00e3o apresentadas finalmente algumas t\u00e9cnicas perturbativas de solu\u00e7\u00e3o da equa\u00e7\u00e3o de Schroedinger, com aplica\u00e7\u00e3o ao estudo da estrutura fina e hiperfina do&nbsp; \u00e1tomo de Hidrog\u00eanio, onde s\u00e3o considerados efeitos relativ\u00edsticos e intera\u00e7\u00f5es envolvendo os spins do el\u00e9tron e do pr\u00f3ton.
