Do ponto de vista conceitual, ser\u00e3o revistos alguns sistemas simples, como o movimento de uma part\u00edcula em uma, duas e tr\u00eas dimens\u00f5es, e outros mais complexos, como sistemas de muitas part\u00edculas e corpos r\u00edgidos.&nbsp; Na parte final faremos uma introdu\u00e7\u00e3o ao c\u00e1lculo de varia\u00e7\u00f5es e \u00e0s equa\u00e7\u00f5es de Lagrange e Hamilton. As ferramentas matem\u00e1ticas necess\u00e1rias para essa disciplina s\u00e3o mais sofisticadas do que aquelas apresentadas em F\u00edsica I. Conhecimentos de C\u00e1lculo I ser\u00e3o fundamentais, assim como alguma familiaridade com a teoria de equa\u00e7\u00f5es diferenciais ordin\u00e1rias e \u00e1lgebra vetorial.
