Sua pesquisa combina espectroscopias de fotoel\u00e9trons, decaimento Auger ressonante, espalhamento inel\u00e1stico ressonante de raios X, espectroscopia de emiss\u00e3o de raios X e decaimentos eletr\u00f4nicos n\u00e3o locais, como o decaimento coul\u00f4mbico intermolecular, a transfer\u00eancia eletr\u00f4nica mediada por decaimento e o decaimento radiativo interat\u00f4mico. Ele \u00e9 o coordenador do LaFE, Laborat\u00f3rio de Fibras Especiais e Sensores \u00d3pticos, que estuda fibras \u00f3pticas de pr\u00f3xima gera\u00e7\u00e3o desde 2008, particularmente fibras \u00f3pticas microestruturadas (fibras de cristal fot\u00f4nico), bem como micro e nanofibras e guias de onda biodegrad\u00e1veis. O objetivo de sua equipe \u00e9 ampliar as funcionalidades das fibras \u00f3pticas e explorar seu uso como guias de onda avan\u00e7ados para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de sensoriamento.<br \/>O LaFE tem sido pioneiro no Brasil na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o dessas novas estruturas, com foco tanto em suas propriedades fundamentais quanto em novas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. O grupo tem atuado no cen\u00e1rio internacional, com publica\u00e7\u00f5es de impacto e projetos formais de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o realizados com institui\u00e7\u00f5es na Espanha, Portugal, EUA, Inglaterra, Alemanha, Finl\u00e2ndia, Fran\u00e7a e Austr\u00e1lia, al\u00e9m de diversas coopera\u00e7\u00f5es locais com grupos no Canad\u00e1, Su\u00e9cia, M\u00e9xico, Col\u00f4mbia, Peru, etc.<br \/>Em 2019, ele passou 12 meses como pesquisador visitante no Instituto de Fot\u00f4nica e Sensoriamento Avan\u00e7ado da Universidade de Adelaide, na Austr\u00e1lia. Cristiano idealizou e organizou o primeiro workshop internacional dedicado \u00e0 discuss\u00e3o de fibras \u00f3pticas especiais (WSOF, Workshop on Specialty Optical Fibers and their Applications), com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de renomados pesquisadores internacionais da \u00e1rea. O evento foi um sucesso e teve diversas edi\u00e7\u00f5es subsequentes no M\u00e9xico, Su\u00e9cia, Hong Kong, Chipre, EUA e Austr\u00e1lia.<br \/>O Dr. Cordeiro publicou mais de 110 artigos completos em peri\u00f3dicos internacionais (WoS), que, at\u00e9 o momento, receberam mais de 4.700 cita\u00e7\u00f5es (WoS ou mais de 7.200 no Google Scholar). Ele \u00e9 o inventor de 12 patentes registradas no INPI brasileiro e uma patente internacional. O pesquisador desempenhou um papel significativo na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens pesquisadores, tendo orientado mais de 40 alunos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e 10 de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o. Ele orientou quatro pesquisadores de p\u00f3s-doutorado. V\u00e1rios ex-alunos seguiram carreira no exterior.<br \/>Cristiano \u00e9 bolsista de produtividade n\u00edvel 1C do CNPq, com um \u00edndice h atual de 39 (WoS) ou 46 (Google Scholar). Coordenou o Laborat\u00f3rio de Instrumenta\u00e7\u00e3o para o Ensino de F\u00edsica (LIEF) entre 2020 e 2024. Graduado em F\u00edsica pela Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina (2005), obteve o t\u00edtulo de Doutor em F\u00edsica pela Universidad de Buenos Aires (2009). Atuou como Professor Assistente Regular (JTP) na Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (2010-2015) e como Pesquisador Assistente (estrangeiro) do CONICET (2010-2011). Realizou p\u00f3s-doutorado no IFGW\/Unicamp (2011-2016), com bolsas da FAPESP e do CNPq. Realizou estadias como professor\/pesquisador visitante no BCMaterials (Pa\u00eds Basco, Espanha), Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional (M\u00e9xico), Universidade Federal do ABC, Universidad Nacional de Colombia e Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Atuou como pesquisador visitante no Laborat\u00f3rio de Microscopia Eletr\u00f4nica do LNNano (CNPEM, Campinas, SP, 2017). Sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 em F\u00edsica, com \u00eanfase em magnetismo, materiais magn\u00e9ticos, pol\u00edmeros superparamagn\u00e9ticos e t\u00e9cnicas avan\u00e7adas de caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o por microscopia eletr\u00f4nica de transmiss\u00e3o (TEM, STEM, HAADF, EDS, ED e Cryo-STEM), sendo usu\u00e1rio experiente dessas t\u00e9cnicas. Possui mais de 92 artigos publicados em peri\u00f3dicos internacionais com revis\u00e3o por pares, com mais de 2500 cita\u00e7\u00f5es e \u00edndice h = 30 (Google Scholar). Publicou em peri\u00f3dicos de alto impacto como Nature Communications, NanoLetters, Nanoscale, Nano Research, Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Review Applied, Acta Biomaterialia, entre outros. Participou de mais de 40 congressos, confer\u00eancias e workshops nacionais e internacionais. Atuo como avaliador ad hoc de projetos para a ANII (Uruguai), CNPq (Brasil), ANPCyT (Argentina), al\u00e9m de comit\u00eas de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de propostas no LNLS (2011, 2012, 2017), LME\/LNNano\/CNPEM (desde 2019) e Sirius (desde 2023). \u00c9 revisor de mais de 25 peri\u00f3dicos internacionais de alto fator de impacto. Atualmente \u00e9 professora titular do Instituto de F\u00edsica Gleb Wataghin da UNICAMP. Faz parte do Grupo de Neurof\u00edsica da UNICAMP, tendo atuado nas seguintes linhas de pesquisa: espectroscopia de RM &#8216;est\u00e1tica&#8217; e funcional, an\u00e1lise de textura de imagens de RM anat\u00f4micas, estudos de conectividade cerebral baseados em imagens de RM funcionais e sinais de eletroencefalografia, interfaces c\u00e9rebro-computador, desenvolvimento e avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologias assistivas e de reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o de fun\u00e7\u00f5es motoras. Foi da carreira de pesquisador PQ da Unicamp no Centro de Componentes Semicondutores e Nanotecnologias (CCSNano), entre 1999 e 2002. Desde 2002, tornou-se Docente da FEEC\/Unicamp na \u00e1rea de eletr\u00f4nica, sendo que entre julho de 2007 e abril de 2017 foi Professor Associado, e atualmente \u00e9 Professor Titular. As suas pesquisas continuam sendo executadas no CCSNano, onde foi Diretor Associado entre 2005 e 2010 e Diretor, entre 2010 e 2016. Atualmente \u00e9 Diretor Associado do CCSNano. Vivian Fran\u00e7a, possui ampla experi\u00eancia na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o te\u00f3rica e computacional de materiais qu\u00e2nticos fortemente correlacionados, com foco em transi\u00e7\u00f5es de fase qu\u00e2nticas, emaranhamento, supercondutividade, desordem e fases topol\u00f3gicas em sistemas de baixa dimensionalidade. Utilizamos metodologias como DFT, DMRG, diagonaliza\u00e7\u00e3o exata e redes neurais artificiais para estudar modelos do tipo Hubbard sob diferentes heterogeneidades espaciais, incluindo confinamento harm\u00f4nico, desordem, impurezas e campos externos. O grupo tem contribu\u00eddo para o desenvolvimento de novos funcionais de densidade e para o uso do emaranhamento como ferramenta para caracterizar fen\u00f4menos como f\u00edsica de Mott-Anderson, crossover BCS-BEC, superfluidez ex\u00f3tica, transporte qu\u00e2ntico e fases topol\u00f3gicas.
