About me

Graduated in Bachelor of Physics from the State University of Campinas (1982), master’s degree in physics from the State University of Campinas (1985) and a PhD in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1988). He did postdoct in the group of Prof. Manuel Cardona, between 1989 – 1991, at the Max-Planck Institute in Stuttgart, Germany. He is currently associate professor of the Physics Institute of the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the experimental area of physics, with emphasis on optic properties of condensed matter, acting mainly on the following topics:. optical properties of heterostructures and nanostructures (nanowires) semiconductor and magnetic-semiconductor and the dynamics of carriers and spin and transport of carriers induced by surface acoustic waves.
