Colocamos ent\u00e3o um palito entre os dentes do garfo (perpendicular \u00e0 jun\u00e7\u00e3o do garfo com a colher), e apoiamos o palito na borda de um copo, de forma que nenhum ponto do sistema garfo-colher esteja em contato com o copo, mas que o centro de massa deste esteja.
