All of its content\u2014texts, challenges, and assessment structures\u2014has been developed through the Cognitive Co\u2011creation method that defines the project.<\/p>\n<p>How this space was built:<br \/>\nThe human author coordinated a critical dialogue with three AI systems (ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Gemini), employed as conceptual mirrors to audit reasoning, tension arguments, and explore alternative explanatory paths. In this process, ideas were refined through the friction between human and synthetic perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>The Explorer\u2019s Contract:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Transparency: Alerts or guidance may be \u201cattributed\u201d to an AI. This documents which \u201cmirror\u201d prompted that specific reflection.<br \/>\n\u2022 No Ready\u2011Made Answers: There are no official answers here. Every element is an invitation to inquiry and to triangulation with other sources.<br \/>\n\u2022 Human Sovereignty: The conceptual architecture, pedagogical decisions, and intellectual responsibility remain, in every case, sovereignly human.<\/p>\n<p>AI can provoke, mirror, and challenge.<br \/>\nTo understand, decide, and assume the consequences is always a human act.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><b>\ud83e\ude9eAn Invitation to Students \u2014 Quantum Mechanics with AI<\/b><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Quantum Mechanics revolutionized our understanding of nature. It explains the fundamental workings of atoms, their interactions, and how they can be organized to produce materials with tailored properties. From this knowledge emerged nearly all modern technologies: computers, smartphones, GPS, space exploration, medical devices, and much more.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>At the same time, Quantum Mechanics is abstract and starkly counterintuitive. In this course, we will face this challenge explicitly by making intensive use of Artificial Intelligence \u2014 itself another product of humanity\u2019s effort to understand, model, and predict how the world works.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>You are invited to use any AI tools available to you to learn, develop physical intuition, solve problems, and critically test explanations. AI is already part of our daily lives and is here to stay; the most productive strategy is to integrate it into the learning process in a <b>strategic, critical, and reflective<\/b> manner.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In this course, AI will not be treated merely as an \u201canswer engine.\u201d Instead, it will function as a <b>mirror of our own cognitive processes<\/b>. At times, it may clarify ideas; at others, it may confuse, over-formalize, or prematurely introduce concepts. Learning to recognize these effects \u2014 and to use them to our advantage \u2014 is a central objective of the course.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Throughout the semester, my own challenge as an educator will be to investigate <b>in what ways and to what extent<\/b> these tools contribute to learning Quantum Mechanics. This inquiry will extend beyond lectures and problem sets to include tests and exams, some of which will involve the <b>guided use and critical auditing of AI-generated responses<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>I will primarily use ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Gemini, but you are encouraged \u2014 and expected \u2014 to explore other AI systems, systematically comparing their approaches, language, assumptions, and conceptual depth.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>This pedagogical experiment gave rise to what we call the <b>Quantum Mirror Project<\/b>. Its rationale, methodology, and materials \u2014 including guidelines for the use of AI in assessed activities \u2014 are available on this site.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Welcome to this journey.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><b>Prof. Marco A.
