About me

Prof. Dr. Luiz Fernando Zagonel is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Physics (IFGW / UNICAMP). He holds a PhD in Physics from UNICAMP (2008). Prior to joining UNICAMP, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS – CNRS, Orsay, France) and as a Researcher at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (LNNano/CNPEM). His research expertise spans low-temperature Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM), Scanning Tunneling Luminescence (STML), Cathodoluminescence, and nanoscale optical characterization of low-dimensional materials and quantum structures.
