Paper showing the utility of optical spectroscopy in neurotrauma patients is published

The paper entitled “Continuous Optical Monitoring of Cerebral Hemodynamics During Head-of-Bed Manipulation in Brain-Injured Adults,” by Meeri Kim et al., was just published in Neurocritical Care. In this work, the authors show how combined measurements of DOS and DCS can be useful to neurotrauma patients during head-of-bed manipulation, a frequent event in the Neuro-ICU.
