In collaboration with Prof. Christoph Deneke, we studied the optical emission of molecular beam epitaxy grown semiconductor systems on free and flexible membranes. We obtain optically active nanostructures (quantum wells) regrown on released GaAs/InGaAs/GaAs membranes used as virtual substrates.
