Received his Bachelor degree in Physics from the “Universidade Estadual de Campinas” in 2003. In 2008 he received his PhD degree for the thesis “Interaction of Photons and Phonons in Photonic Crystal Fibers”. From 2008 to 2011 he hold a post-doc position at Michal Lipson’s group at Cornell University. He is now an assistant professor (MS3) at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Scientific interest includes optical forces in nanostructures, cavity optomechanics, strongly confining structures and related subjects.
